EPH has grown by buying old coal-fired power plants and collecting tax money for their decommissioning. It is now using this money to turn the coal phase-out into a gas phase-in and keep us tied to fossil fuels. First, EPH transported gas from Russia to Europe, and now it is building gas-fired power plants in countries across Europe. The profits are made on the backs of the people who are directly affected by the destruction and pollution, primarily the most affected people and areas (MAPA), and at the same time we have to pay the expensive prices.
To evade responsibility, EPH hides behind a complex and opaque web of ownership structures, but we will not let them get away with it. The network of activists from all over Europe will put them in the spotlight and fight back against them. With actions and protests at EPH locations.
