Getting there

Location

The 2nd big Ende Gelände Action will take place in the Rhineland, close to Bonn between the 3rd and 6th of November. We recommend getting to Bonn already on Friday (3rd of November), 5:00pm to be able to prepare the action on Saturday.

Are you are still looking for accommodation for the weekend, have a look at our accomodation platform. Please be prepared to sleep in a big tent during the action days so that we can be as flexible as possible. Therefore it is important that you bring a sleeping bag, a sleeping mat and enough warm clothes with you. Sleeping bags and sleeping mats are also required for the other sleeping options.

You can plan your departure on Monday, the 6th of November from Köln or Bonn.
For people with little time there will be also the opportunity to arrive on Saturday morning in Bonn and leave already on Sunday late evening from Köln.

Travel by train

If you plan to come by train you can book your ticket to Bonn (arriving on Friday). On Saturday there will be busses carrying you from Bonn to the camp. If you are going to arrive on Saturday morning it might be good to travel to Köln, from there it might be easier to go directly to the camp via public transport. If you want to leave on Monday morning, you can plan your departure from Bonn or Köln. If you need to leave already on Sunday evening you should plan your departure from Köln as there will be the central meeting point on Sunday evening.

Travel by bike

(sorry, german only, translation will be availible soon – but the map is readable anyway 😉 – and you can follow the given links to the websites of the cyclists’ for more information or contact them via email.)

In general: Please try to bring your bike! The action area is vast!

Travel by car

Please try not to come by car. There are no parking places on the camp and Bonn will be full of people as the COP is going to take place there.
