Journey to Hamburg

(Information on how to get to Brunsbüttel can be found here)

The action in Hamburg – Anti-colonial Attack! – is supported by a majority migrant and post-migrant self-organisation. The action is mainly aimed at BIPoC and migrants or affinity groups with BIPoC/migrants. You or you are a white affinity group? You are also invited. However, please reflect your position, be in solidarity and do not push yourself to the fore. Know your place. We’re not into cultural appropriation. White dreads? We have scissors with us. *)

Arrival & Registration (Hamburg)

As you already know there will be two locations this year: Brunsbüttel and Hamburg. Therefore we need to get an overview of how many people will arrive for both.

If you are a group of 15 people or more, please write an email to busmobi@ende-gelaende.org and let us know with how many people your group wants to travel to Hamburg and when. Please do NOT write an email if you are coming as an individual with an organised journey.

We ask all those travelling in groups of up to 15 people to register here (once per affinity group/group). You do not have to give any personal data, the registration tool is (encrypted) and anonymous. By using the tool you avoid chaos in the planning!

Bus travel: Regarding the buses already planned by the local groups, it is best to look at the information under the Brunsbüttel action. Information on which buses can also go via Hamburg you will find there.

For further questions regarding arrival/departure, please contact MobiKo at: busmobi@ende-gelaende.org

Arrival by train: If you come by train, it is best to book to Hamburg Hbf.

Where to sleep? We have organised a accommodation platform for you!

In Hamburg there is an accommodation platform so that everyone can get a place to sleep with other comrades. You can reach the accommodation platform via this link. Please register now to get a place to sleep!

if you can offer a place to sleep, you can also offer it under this link. The tool is encrypted and secure.

Current information on site

At the Cafe Knallhart on the campus of the University of Hamburg you can get information about the action. Please don’t have too many people at this place at the same time, it should mainly be there for information and offer space for retreat. There will be a map with directions, here are the directions from the main station:
At the main station take the S21 (direction Elbgaustraße) or S31 (direction Altona) and get off at Dammtor station. When you leave the
station, turn left along Edmund-Siemers-Allee (becomes Grindelallee) until you see the Mineralogical Museum on the right-hand side
(Grindelallee 48) and take the small park path on the right until you reach the pond (900 m, approx. 12 min walk). On the right hand side you will find the Cafe Knallhart (address: Von-Melle-Park 9).

Packing list

Before you start, please read the packing list to find out what you should bring and what you should leave at home. It also contains an
important reading recommendation, which we strongly recommend for the journey or the action itself!
