Wütend und ungehorsam – Klimagerechtigkeit selber machen – Wir sind der Systemwandel!

Die Regierung hat die 1,5°-Grenze aufgegeben – wir aber nicht! Statt Kopf in den Sand, heißt es jetzt: Füße in die Grube. Wir gehen direkt an den Ort der Zerstörung – ins Lausitzer Braunkohlerevier. Während die Regierung den Kohleausstieg 2038 per Gesetz festnageln will, leiten wir den sofortigen Kohleausstieg ein. In einer Massenaktion zivilen Ungehorsams werden wir gemeinsam mit euch und vielen anderen Menschen Kohleinfrastruktur stilllegen. Wir beenden das Zeitalter des fossilen Kapitalismus.

The German government gave up on the 1.5° limit – but we haven’t! Millions of people protested for the climate in the streets – and the answer of the German government is a climate destruction package that proves once again their failure and fuels the climate crises. Business as usual and another 20 years of dirty coal?! That is political insanity and means the destruction of the basis of life, locally as well as globally: extreme weather conditions like droughts, heat waves and floods are a cruel reality and affect mostly people in the global south. The time window to act is slowly closing and stopping lignite mining is still the easiest immediate measure. The lack of governmental action is a clear signal to us: political reforms won’t save the climate. Stopping lignite mining remains our work!
